“Naomi” features in Google Arts and Culture online exhibition, Healthcare Heroes.

Sally’s portrait of senior staff nurse Naomi is featured alongside nearly 800 portraits of frontline NHS workers as part of Healthcare Heroes, a major online exhibition provided by Google Arts and Culture and Paintings in Hospitals. https://artsandculture.google.com/project/healthcare-heroes
The initiative to provide free portraits for frontline NHS workers during the pandemic was conceived by Oxford artist, Tom Croft www.thomascroft.co.uk.

Sally was delighted to be named “Female Artist of the Day” by the Royal Society of Portrait Painters to promote their prestigious Annual Exhibition. The post, which can be seen on Facebook and Instagram, describes the story behind the Sally’s portrait of her mother which has been selected for this year’s exhibition.

“Self-Portrait” exhibited at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition, 2019, 9th-24th May, Mall Galleries, London.

Sally’s “Self-Portrait”, was exhibited at the prestigious Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition in May at the Mall Galleries in London.
The portrait was one of only around 100 works by emerging artists selected from over 2000 entries via the open submission. Her portrait was exhibited alongside a further 100 portraits by eminent members of the Royal Society who are some of Britain’s leading portrait painters.
