“Boy with Dressing Gown” selected for Society of Women Artist’s annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London
Sally’s painting “Boy with Dressing Gown” will be on display at the Mall Galleries in London from 6th-10th June, having been selected for the 162nd annual exhibition of the Society of Women Artists.
Sally’s “Self-Portrait”, originally commissioned by The Artist magazine, has been pre-selected for this year’s Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition.
Sally was interviewed by Claire Waite Brown in two podcasts for Creativity Found, an organisation which helps adults to find a creative passion. The podcasts are available now on most podcast platforms.
In the first podcast Sally discusses how she returned to art and combines being a professional artist with a career as a civil servant. In the second, she talks about her experiences of being a finalist for Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year competition in 2020. You can also access the podcasts here and here.
Sally is delighted that her painting of “Nancy” has reached the final round of judging for the prestigious Royal Institute of Oil Painters’ annual exhibition which will take place at the Mall Galleries in London later this year. The results of this year’s competition will be available in October.
