Sally is privileged that her portrait of NHS hero Naomi, a senior staff nurse, has been selected to appear in a wonderful collection of portraits published by Bloomsbury. Portraits for NHS Heroes was an initiative created by Oxford-based artist Tom Croft which offered free portraits to those working for the NHS during the pandemic.  The book provides a lasting, historical record of these challenging times.

Bloomsbury states: “This book presents a selection of these remarkable images. Some are by leading artists such as Alastair Adams and Mary Jane Ansell, and they are showcased here as both a celebration and a remembrance, in physical form, of the dedication of our NHS key workers.”
